Mango Scotch Bonnet Salsa

2.1K

That’s right! We said Mango Scotch Bonnet Salsa!

It’s mango season and we’re continuing on with our mango obsession! Mango Scotch Bonnet salsa is savory, sweet, and oh so spicy! Did I mention, it’s crazy easy to make, because it is! I make a massive batch of this fiery beauty and it’s gone even before I can bother wondering if we’ll go through that much salsa. My favorite part about this mango salsa is that you can pair it with just about anything. Whether you’re going to make tacos, our incredibly delicious masala crusted pork tenderloin, or even just some fresh tortilla chips.

There’s no hard or fast rule on how to make this particular mango salsa. If Scotch Bonnet peppers are too spicy, just pick a pepper more to your liking. If you want more lime or cilantro, less lime or cilantro – you do you. I say this all the time – North Indian food, especially Punjabi food isn’t fast, often isn’t easy, and there are rules, rules, and more rules on how to get it right. So I love recipes where I can sit back and say – yo, just mix that sh** together and get on it.

I can’t stress just how easy this mango Scotch Bonnet salsa is to make. You can easily keep it in the fridge for a couple days, but be warned – it will get spicier the longer it sits. If you are going to refrigerate it, make sure to put it in an airtight container. Now, while you burn your pants off with this delicious condiment, we’re off to make more mango dishes!
